Pink Blanket...
My soft, pink blanket makes me so happy. Although, I am overall a happy baby. (It's probably all the attention my family bestows upon me.)
Baby Hawk...
I have some crazy baby hair. Mom and Dad call it my baby hawk hair hence my sometimes nickname is "Baby Hawk". Mom says it's surreal she would call me such a crazy name but it seems to fit my funny, smiley personality.
3 Months...
Mom says the time just keeps getting away from her. She says it's because she is soaking me up as much as possible and holding, rocking, snuggling me as much as possible saying things like I'm the last baby so she has to enjoy it as much as possible. Maybe that's why I like to wake her up every 1-2 hours. I did trick her and give her a 6 hour stretch the other night but then I went right back to my wakings every 1-2 hours demanding she hold me all night. She seems tired and sometimes I find her saying "shhhh, shhhh, shhhh" to her food and rocking back and forth even when she's not holding me.
Still, we have a great time together and we're really tight. I can always find a smile for her and only trying to start laughing. I have not yet given the full belly laugh but I'm close.
We're not sure how much I weight but Mom is guessing 12ish pounds. I still mostly fit in my 0-3 month clothes but soon we'll be transitioning to my next size. I actually don't drink huge portions of milks, just lots of little ones. Mom has to pump on days she is working so we actually know about how much milk I drink and it ranges from 1 1/2 oz to 3 1/2 oz in a single sitting. We're glad I seem to do well switching between breast and bottle.
I really like my babysitter, Ms. B. She is wonderful and basically her family adopts me for the day and I go where they go and do what they do. I LOVE all of them. Mom gets photos and updates of our day while she is working. She says it helps to ease her sadness of missing me during the day.
I really love my family. I enjoy the excitement of watching the big kids run and play and Dad makes me grin when he says, "Dada dada dada dada".
Most of the time I'm pretty smiley, too. Mom and Dad say I am their smiley-est baby. I do enjoy seeing faces. Talking and chattering are also favorites of mine - "ah-goo" and "boompst" are also great words. Brother thinks he hears me say "mama" and "hi" too but Mom says it's not used in context.
My pink soft blanket is my favorite luvie. I love rubbing it against my face and have to sleep with it. It was a gift from Aunt JT. Mom had to track down a second blanket so she has something as a back up in case it needs to be washed.
